لا لا تَحسبْ أنْ الدينَ بعيدٌ عن حُبٍ وحياة
وبهجرِك للدينِ ستحيا تَعشقُ ما قلبُك يهواه
أو أن الأيامَ ستحْلو وتَرى الدُنيا شطَ نجاة
دينك بحرٌ من آمالِ شطٌ لجميلِ الأحلام
ليس الدينُ كما تخْشاهُ ذا مَمنوعٌ ذاك حرام
فالإسلامُ جميلٌ حقاً هذا ليس هو الإسْلام
كلُ أوامرِه تَهدينا وتُنادِينا للخيرِ
ينْهانا عن كُلِ طريقٍ يأخُذنْا نَحو الشرِ
فالله رَحيمٌ وحَليمٌ يدْعو دَوماً للبرِ
في الدينِ صلاةٌ وصيامٌ وكذلك فرحٌ وسرور
والمتديّن مَنْ تلقاهُ مُبتسِماً حلواً كالنْور
يسْعى لُيعمِر دُنياهُ وهو رقيْقُ الطَبعِ صبور
الإسْلامُ سلامٌ فينا يزرَعُ فينا حُبَ الناس
الإسْلامُ سفينهُ حُبٍ يدْفعها أجملُ إحساس
ما أحلى الدُنيا لو عِشنْا وجَعْلنا الإسْلام أساس

Translation :
Don't think that this religion is far from love and life
And due to your abandonment of this religion, you will live and love what your heart wishes
Or that the days will sweeten and you will see life exceeding success
You think that the religion is sea of hopes, deviating pleasant dreams
This religion isn't what you fear, 'this is prohibited, that is forbidden'
As Islam is truely beautiful, this (your fear) is not Islam
All of its laws guide us and invite us to good
It prohibits us from any path leading to harm
Allah is The All Merciful and the forebearing-forever, calling us to piety
In this religion, there's "salah" and "siyam", hence happiness and bliss
And the religious person is he who meets you smiling pleasantly like 'the light'
He strikes to live life to the fullest whilst his nature is compassionate and preservering
Islam is a peace within us that grows love for people
Islam is a ship of love which is pushed by the most beautiful feelings
How pleasant is this life if we live and make Islam (our) foundation
